- You need 250 g of goat meat.
- You need 2 of big tomatoes.
- It's cubes of Salt and maggi.
- Prepare 2 of big onions.
- Prepare of Tomato paste.
- Prepare of Greens (kales).
- Prepare of Olive oil.
- It's 2 cups of water.
- It's of Maize flour.
Next, place the meat and potatoes over the greens. Ugali, also known as ugali pap, nsima and nshima, is a type of maize flour porridge made in Africa. A classic Kenyan beef stew accompanied with properly cooked Ugali is everyone's favourite. My method is one that results in beautifully cooked tender meat, however, you may some times purchase meat that is hard and needs.
Ugali,greens and mbuzi fry instructions
- Cut your meat and steam with a bit salt till tender....
- Chop your onions and add to your meat after its steamed, add a bit oil.
- Fry till your onions are golden brown.
- Add your chopped tomatoes and tomato paste stir and add your maggi cubes, cover and cook on low heat.
- For the kales fry your onions with olive oil, add chopped tomatoes, add salt to taste, cook till your tomatoes are soft, add your kales and cook for 5mins.
- For ugali pour 2 cups of water in a pot, let it boil and stir your maize flour gladually...cook for about 10mins..
- Enjoy with a glass of milk and an Avocado!.
We ordered wet fry mbuzi with ugali for some and others fries. The food was amazing especially the meat, was soft and well cooked though it took more than an hour but it was worth it.
