- You need 1 lb of mild Italian sausage.
- Prepare 4 strips of bacon.
- You need 6 cans of chicken broth.
- It's 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.
- Prepare 2 cups of kale.
- You need 1 of whole chopped onion.
- Prepare 7 of potatoes.
- It's 1 cup of heavy cream.
- It's 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
Zuppa Tuscano Olive Garden instructions
- Add red pepper and sausage cook all the way thru until no pink color. Drain sausage and set aside on plate.
- In same pot fry bacon until crisp. Set aside. Drain grease from bacon but leave tablespoon of bacon grease in pot.
- Throw chopped onion in all of it and garlic. Fry until translucent 5-10 min.
- Add chicken broth crumbled bacon and potatoes sliced thin (2 cut thin so will boil up thicker paste and 5 potatoes cut thick) bring all to boil over medium heat and simmer 20 minutes until potatoes cooked tender with fork.
- Add heavy cream and fried sausage now cook to a boil and reduce to low.
- Add kale bring to a simmer and turn heat off and cover pot with lid for 5 minutes. Then Enjoy!.
- Everything is cooked in one pot!.
- (At the end of cooking add salt and pepper to your liking).
- If want to thicken this just slowly sprinkle flour and stir until desired consistency while its at a good simmer.
